I love grilling...rather I love that JEROME does that part of the cooking! We have been eating healthy lately, with a lot of grilling (as it's healthier than frying, sautéing, etc.) and pairing the meat with some veggies. That can get boring! I was searching the internet for a new marinade to change up our grillin', and found this little gem...and boy was it AWESOME! Both Jerome and I immediately loved it once we put it on the grill, as the smell of the marinade with the cooking pork loin chops is heavenly. I hope you enjoy...let me know what you think!!!!
Ingredients:
* 2 cloves garlic, minced
* 2 tbsp brown sugar
* 3 tbsp honey
* 3 tbsp soy sauce
* 3 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
* 2 tsp ketchup
* 1/2 tsp ground ginger
* 1/2 tsp ground onion powder
* 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
* 1/8 tsp cayenne pepper
* 2 pork loin chops
~ Combine all ingredients and mix well; place in a gallon bag with the pork chops and let sit...I let the marinade and chops sit for about 1-1.5 hours. Grill on Medium heat for about 8 minutes on each side. Paired with some corn and my homemade garlic parmesan bread (from 3/25/15)
