- Fuji Apples (one per each person you are serving)
- Nutmeg & Cinnamon
- 25g butter (about 1/4th stick of butter)
- 1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar (light)
- 1/4 cup maple syrup - I only use REAL syrup
- 1/4 cup cold water
- pinch of salt
- 1 tin of condensed milk (the 396g can)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 tbsp brandy (generous pours!)
- Edy’s Slow Churned Vanilla Ice Cream
- Chopped Nuts - I used pecans…any type you have on hand works
Pour butter into a sauce pan on medium and melt; once fully melted, add in the brown sugar, maple syrup, water and salt…STIR (don’t stop stirring, so make sure you have the time!). Once the sugar has dissolved, bring to high and let it bubble for a minute or two…keep stirring. Add vanilla, condensed milk and brandy…keep stirring til the mixture is well combined and is the color of caramel - remove from heat.
Scoop about 3/4 cup of Edy’s into the apples, drizzle brandy caramel on top and sprinkle with nuts…enjoy!!!!!!
