Brownie Bar Ingredients:
2 cups flour
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 cup butter
1 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
1 bag semi sweet chocolate chips
Fondant Frosting:
2 tbsp. melted butter
2 tbsp. milk
1 1/2 cups confectioners sugar
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 tsp vanilla
Directions:
*Sift together flour, salt & baking soda. In a separate bowl, cream the butter and brown sugar, then blend in the eggs and vanilla. Finally, stir in the dry ingredients, then fold in the chocolate chips.
* Bake in a 9x13 pan, lightly greased, at 375 for about 15-18 minutes. While the bars are cooking, combine all the ingredients for the frosting in a small bowl. make sure to wait until the bars have cooled sufficiently enough before spreading the frosting on top, or you may make a mess!
