I must say that I tried the lamb kebobs even though I am SOOOOO not a lamb fan. They weren't too pungent for me, and although I didn't go back for seconds, they were pretty good! I brought home a piece of the cake for Jerome (which was to die for) however I mistook his "no thank you" to mean he didn't want it at all - so I ate it...he meant not now :) Let me know if you would like any of the other recipes!!!! Blue Cheese BBQ Cole Slaw
(this would go awesome with crock pot beer can chicken sliders from 10/31)
Ingredients:
4 slices thick cut bacon, chopped (I could use 6+ strips!!!)
2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
1 tbsp honey
2 tbsp BBQ sauce (sweet baby ray's all the way)
1 tsp vegetable magic seasoning
1/4 cup mayo (I use olive oil mayo...healthier lol)
1 tbsp whole grain mustard
16 oz coleslaw mix
1/2 cup crumbled blue cheese
Salt & pepper to taste
~~ Cook bacon until crisp, then drain. Remove all but 1 tbsp of oil from the pan, and then add to the pan vinegar, honey, BBQ and seasoning on low heat - whisk until combined. Remove the mix from the stove and cool. Add the mayo and mustard to the mix, whisking until blended. Fold in the coleslaw, bacon and blue cheese; season with S&P to taste!
