Ingredients:
- 1 cup butter (yup!)
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 2 cups flour
- 1 package heath bits - sometimes there is a shortage in my local store, so if this happens for you...get some aggression out by pounding a few heath bars (in wrappers) with a meat mallet!
Directions:
- In your processor (I have a Cuisinart!) cream the butter well and then add in sugar, yolk and vanilla.
- Pulse in the flour and 2/3 of the heath bits.
- Press into a 9x13 ungreased pan, and bake for 18-20 minutes at 350
- While cooling, sprinkle remaining bits on top.
- Cut into squares...and try not to devour the whole pan :)
