Anyhoo I made this little treat. I had made chocolate covered strawberries in the past, but this adds a little twist :) I have a cold/frozen tray that kept the chocolate solid for most of the tailgating too. Cheers!
Ingredients:
* 1 tub of strawberries
* Hershey's special dark chocolate chips
* 1 box Jell-O pudding (and milk)...I used the cheesecake flavor & 1% milk
* 1 can of Light Whipped Cream
* 1 baking sheet & parchment paper
~ take the rinsed strawberries and hollow them out; also cut the tip of the strawberry so that it can stand up. In a small bowl, melt some of the chocolate chips (I think I melted a few ounces at a time) for about 20+ seconds in the microwave. Dip the strawberries in the melted chocolate, and then place on the parchment paper/baking sheet. When all strawberries are dipped, put the tray into the fridge to chill.
~ mix the pudding & milk as directed on the package and then put 1/2 the amount into a ziplock bag. Cut one of the corners of the bag so you pour the pudding into the hollow of the strawberries. Put the tray back into the fridge to settle. When you are ready to serve, put a little whipped cream on top of each :)
