3 ripe bananas
1 bag dark chocolate chips
Peanut butter – I used chunky but either works
I had some ripe bananas, and went searching for recipes….as I didn’t want to make my standard banana bread. What I found was a recipe for chocolate-covered bananas & peanut butter. And yes, they are DELISH! Only 3 ingredients needed: 3 ripe bananas 1 bag dark chocolate chips Peanut butter – I used chunky but either works ~ slice the bananas and put half on a cookie sheet lined with wax paper. With a spoon, add some peanut butter to the slices, and then lightly smush another slice on top. Put them in the freezer for about 30-45 minutes. While they are chilling, start melting your chocolate….i did ½ the bag in the microwave in segments of 15-20 seconds, taking out in between to stir, and then slowly adding the other ½. Take the bananas out of the freezer, and using two forks to shift them into/out of the chocolate. Once you have covered all bananas, refreeze for about 2 hours….ENJOY!!!
