Ingredients:
1 package bacon (I like maple!)
1-2lbs large sea scallops (I like to get mine from safe harbor)
3/4 cup maple syrup (not fake!)
2 tbsp melted butter
3 tbsp fresh OJ (I squeeze an orange for this)
1 tsp grated orange peel (from said orange)
~ cook bacon so it is still flexible - about half or 3/4 fully cooked. Cut each strip in half; wrap around a scallop and set aside
~ bring syrup to boil on medium-high heat, and reduce for about 5 minutes. Remove from heat and add: butter, oj, & peel.
~ brush the scallops with the glaze. Grill on lightly greased grill rack over medium high heat until scallops are opaque (about 6 minutes), turning once or twice.
Serves 6!
